Prairie Fire Farm was started when Logan and Marissa Jantz purchased the Zerger Tree Farm. We moved to our current location in fall of 2014 planting our first crop here the following spring. We now have 10 acres in trees and room to grow. Our focus has always been to provide trees that will prosper in Kansas with as little care as possible and we strive to give excellent service after the sale as well. We are happy to take your order anytime and usually begin tagging trees in September. That is an excellent time to come out if you’d like to pick out your trees. We wait to dig them until they are dormant for safe moving. That normally begins in mid November, so tree availability is mid November through the following May. We can store your tree until you can come get it or we offer delivery and planting for an additional fee.
